JUST A REALLY *NORMAL* FLAPPY GAME

Just a flappy game, probably an unusual one

This is my game submission for the GameJamPlus 23/24, I went with the themes: "Having Fun Casually" and "Rethink the Classics". 

I'm a sound designer and music composer with some experience in Unity and FMOD for the audio implementation part (which are the tools I used to make this game). It's my first time participating in this jam as well it's my first time in a jam working solo. 

HOW IT WAS MADE

Art assets weren't made by me, they are just CC0 free assets, I made all the code and music during the jam from scratch though.

I recorded electric guitar for the music. All the SFX are made from guitar recordings, they are in key with the background music. Then I implemented all the audio in unity using FMOD, to make the music change dynamically depending on different variables such as:

• Current Score (Dynamic from 0 to 20)
• New High Score
• Death counter (Dynamic from 0 to 10)
• Game Over state

I recommend to play enough until have 10 deaths in total and reach 20 points, in order to get to experience all of the game's music

HOW TO PLAY

• Jump, avoid obstacles and score points
• Each time you lose, something interesting may happen ;)
• JUMP = tap / click / space / W / Arrow Up
